The Team

Danielle
Owner & Manager
I have been working in child care since 2009 and to open my own setting is a dream come true for me.
I am an in the moment planner and know that children learn best whilst having fun. Knowing that all children learn differently I am all for changing the way we teach, not the way children learn. Learning through play and taking on the curiosity approach is my passion and I believe it is a brilliant way to engage children and build strong self help skills.
I myself have 3 children that have additional needs so I have a really good understanding of SEN.
Mona
DEPUTY MANAGEr & SENco
I have been working in childcare since 2017 having changed career to fit around my growing family. For the last five years I have loved what I do and the immense job satisfaction working with preschool children brings.
The mental health and well being of children is of particular importance to me, as I believe fundamentally a child can only learn when they feel safe and secure. This is underpinned at Little Meadows by the work we undertake using the Curiosity Approach which helps build independence and self care skills in children, thereby fostering resilience. It’s is also a joy to plan and undertake these types of activities with our children that both excite and enhance their learning on a daily basis.

Hannah
Apprentice

The role came up at perfect time, I was keen to start this apprenticeship to be able to expand my knowledge and skills.

I have previously worked in education and have 2 children myself. As a parent to two younger children, I have a deep appreciation for spending time engaging in their favourite activities. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the value of interactive, hands-on learning.

I am excited to embrace the curiosity approach, which encourages children to learn through play, imagination, and exploration. I believe that allowing children the freedom to explore their environment and use their imagination fosters a lifelong love of learning and discovery.
MADELINE
NURSERY PRACTIONER
I have recently qualified in level 3 childcare at College, where I also did A Level Criminology. I have a huge, loving family and a gorgeous dog called Lola!

I believe outdoor play is really important as I know it has so many benefits to a child's development, especially their mental well-being. It's always something I have encouraged and learnt from through looking after and playing with my younger cousins as well as throughout my own childhood.

I'm looking forward to being involved in the children's early learning, playing alongside them and building bonds with them!
